About Us

Hello!

I'm Gloria, a proud Florida Panhandle native from the scenic Bay County. I honed my educational skills at the University of West Florida, where I earned a major in education and a minor in art.

My professional journey began in the classroom, where I enjoyed six enriching years. However, my path eventually led me back home – first as a full-time mom, then immersing myself in homeschooling. Interestingly, before my teaching days, I spent my summers as a lifeguard and swimming instructor. Today, I feel incredibly fulfilled to return to my roots.

Two of my deepest passions are teaching and children, and I'm equally enthralled by the water! My approach to swimming instruction is holistic. I stress the importance of consistency, repetition, and reinforcement. Accordingly, our classes run consecutively for five days, from Monday to Friday. 

As a mother to four wonderful children, I understand that time and resources are precious. That's why we provide various options including private and semi-private lessons. We even offer sibling discounts to make our classes more accessible.

Our schedule is quite bustling, and it fills up faster than I can update it. However, I strive to respond to your messages promptly. If there's ever a delay, rest assured it's because I am in the pool doing what I love most – teaching!
